Terms of Service

By creating an account or using uploadrequest.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and uploadrequest.app.

uploadrequest.app provides a platform for collecting files from third parties via secure, shareable upload links. Account holders can create upload requests, share links, and receive files. File uploaders (contributors) can use the service without an account.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow others to access the service using your credentials.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Collect, store, or share illegal content
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Send spam, unsolicited emails, or harassing messages via the email feature
• Deceive contributors about the nature or purpose of an upload request
• Collect sensitive personal data without proper legal basis (e.g. financial details, health records) unless you have appropriate authorisation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create through the service. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, transmit, and make available your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are solely responsible for the content of files you collect and the upload requests you create. You must have the right to collect the files you request and must comply with all applicable data protection laws (including GDPR if you are based in the EEA).

We do not review, screen, or take responsibility for files uploaded through the service.

The service is available on a free plan with usage limits. Paid plans (Pro and Business) unlock additional features as described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis.

You may cancel your paid plan at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or emergency fixes that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime where possible.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

If you collect personal data from contributors using the service (for example, identity documents or financial records), you are the data controller for that data under applicable law. You are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis for collecting it and for complying with any subject access or deletion requests.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, uploadrequest.app shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

You may close your account at any time from account settings. On closure, all your data and uploaded files will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if your account has been inactive for more than 24 months on a free plan.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify account holders of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
